Couple of weeks ago the brilliant spring fair took centre stage at the NEC in birmingham. I went along to the last day and found myself pleasantly suprised by the turn out, it was great to see smaller businesses and individuals with great ideas ready for the market. Favourite sections had to be toys and greeting cards...I'm a sucker for illustration and anything childish!
There were the obvious samey stands that deceive you with possibilities they have something interesting and new, only for you to get in a realise you could be stood in the homeware section of the Range.
But minus the few stores that had me believing I was in a garden centre there were many fresh faced independent stalls full to brim with concept, products and possibilities.
It's always good to get out from infront of my desk in the studio and see what's going on in the world but even more so when I get to see lovely things.
